Fornals

Arguably our most underrated player for me.
His work rate is second to none, thought he aside from Soucek was our best player last night.
The VISION for the ball to Antonio for our first goal was magnificent.
If he can be more composed when he's in goal scoring opportunities, he's going to be MASSIVE for us.

Isn't on the front page, and bumping old threads gets the mods moody.

I agree Block, he gives 100% every time he walks out on to the pitch

Very good player, can definitely pick a pass and isn't just the runner that some claim he is.

As a player he has really come on and is a starter for me.

He's a damned good player but would be a magnificent one if he had a bit of pace.

For a fee of 25 mil, or whatever is was, he is now beginning to look like possibly justifying it. For that dough I would definitely expect him to be able to pass and not just run around. Hopefully more to come from him.

Good player but that ball for the goal wasn't a particularly good one it's just that Antonio did really well with it I think.

I’ve criticised him lots. He’s getting better, great attitude and work rate. He just needs to work on finishing

Never rated the Fornals that came in under Pellegrini. But Moyes has come in, reshaped him and changed his game to suit his system. He is a totally different player from 18 months ago.

Vexed I disagree he saw the run and put it exactly where he was going.

Re: Fornals

That weird goal was a real credit to the never-say-die attitude of the current team. Fornals had no good options for the pass, but he didn't give up and pass it back to the fullback. He put in an odd pass towards the goal line and the never-say-die Antonio did a weird flick back into the six yard box to Soucek, who was barreling in despite the fact that it looked like Fornal's ball was going out.

Darby - I think it was just you that thought it was going out hence Antonio and Soucek combining to score ;-)

I thought he intentionally put that right in Antonio's path and even realised it would slow up on the wet surface.

Really love his attitude. All these players function as part of a team and I think this is what Moyes has brought most to the table. Team of great parts working for the good of the team. You can tell the tensions has been lifted by getting rid of the non team players.

Agreed, he is much improved this season.
If Benhrama did a through ball like Fornals did for the equaliser, his acolytes would be intolerable.

COYI - stop being a cunt, most are praising Fornals for that pass, it was sublime.
You've now digged at Benrahma on his thread on the Lingard one, the Dawson one, the match thread and now this one.. You're fucking obsessed...

No surprises Vexed is completely wrong when it comes to football.
He clearly saw the space and the run Antonio was making, the pass was executed perfectly.
